Although they carry different story lines - the family and community are the same. I always enjoy that! If you like a suspenseful story line I think you’ll like this book.

AMISH UNDER FIRE IS A DELIGHTFUL STORY. IT HAS LOVE, MYSTERY, SADNESS, GRACE AND MOST OF ALL GOD! IT IS A STORY THAT HOOKS YOU FROM THE BEGINNING AND KEEPS YOU GOING ALL THE WAY TO THE END. IT SHOWS THAT NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE, TROUBLES WILL FIND YOU BUT GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!
Simply awesome! I appreciated how she exposes the harsh and gruesome truths of sex trafficking, relationship abuse, and violence in our modern world. I especially love how she shared not only the truth of God's love, grace, and mercy, but the importance of forgiveness in relationships as well. Her knowledge of the Amish give readers a glimpse of what it is like to live in their world! She balances the light and darkness, the simple and complex, and the Amish and the modern world all in this action-filled, yet heartwarming story. I look forward to reading more of her novels in the future.
The length that Maria would go to to protect her son. Brought Derek into her life and heart, after seeing a clip of Trevor now knowing he was beyond just being an abruser, and to save young girls. A good story, informative,and a good second chance of Maria having a love that brings her back to the Amish community.
This story just goes to show that good can come out of even the worst things that happen in life. The Amish have always believed that God will provide, and protect if you have faith. Seriously bad people involved in kidnapping and human trafficking actually find themselves up against the wrong people! Lots of intrigue and love. Great read!
This is a very good book. I wasn't expecting to read about abuse and murder and human trafficking in a book about the Amish. It was well put together and I couldn't put it down.
This excellent story was worth the wait! If you want an exciting story with a little romance and nothing embarrassing along with plenty of positive conversations with God, try these books! You will not be sorry
