I enjoyed Goodbye Earl because I had read all the other books that preceded it and felt a fondness for the characters. I was disappointed in Earl's being a jerk, but that's life, isn't it...and without revealing his deceit and his bad behavior, the book couldn't have stood alone. At least he was a generous jerk, so I'll give a few points to him. The author didn't leave her readers without hope for the characters at the end. Too bad this was the last of the series.

It's always good to visit these ladies again and relive their trials and tribulations. I so enjoy Jo-Ann Mapson's books.
I love this series, it's so sad when the last page comes along. I am totally addicted to Jo-Ann Mapson's books, she is such an inspiration. I hope more will be coming.
I still did not enjoy this as much as Bad Girl Creek but it is still a very good read. Anyone who read the first two will enjoy this. Earl turns out not to be what he seemed....or maybe more than he seemed. Beryl finally seems to come to terms with her past life. And again, all the Bad Girls come together when push comes to shove. Lord, I wish I had friends like these!
This book was another good one in the series of " Bad Girl Creek Novels". I just had to know what happened to the girls as their lives continued. The author has a real handle on women's feeling and hopes and dreams.
My wife really likes all of Jo-Ann Mapson's books, including this one, so I can recommend it. You will best enjoy reading them in the order published, but they're good on their own.
I am very pleased to have discovered the work of Jo-Ann Mapson. I've read Many of her books and have three left before I run out. My sister will be thrilled to get these when I am finished. Ihope to read this author for many years to come.
I enjoyed this book and the other two in the trilogy very much.not usually the type of books I read but the first one was on sale for kindle.after that I had to read the others.I love the characters this author created.I love the animals.I have border collies,horses and have had birds so I felt a kinship with this author and the snippets of agility and other animal stuff she put in..made me feel like I had a kinship with her
